Château Rayas

Château Rayas is widely considered as the best of the best when it comes to Châteauneuf du Pape. Established in 1880 and now run by fourth generation Emmanual Reynaud, Rayas enjoys one of the coolest microclimates in Châteauneuf, with fine sandy soils and pine trees surrounding the vineyards. This cool climate and poor soil help the wines achieve optimal ripeness while retaining balancing natural acidity that adds elegance, grace, and an almost otherworldly texture to their wines. Uniquely made from 100% Grenache in a very traditional manner, the wines of Rayas are highly coveted and are some of the most exceedingly collectible wines in the world.
