Located in Le Mesnil-sur-Oger and founded in 1920 by Eugène-Aimé Salon a native from Champagne, Salon is a very unique and rare Champagne produced from Chardonnay grapes from a single cru Le Mesnil-sur-Oger in the Côte des Blancs. No more than 60.000 bottles are produced in a single vintage. Since the 1928 vintage, one that earned Salon the unanimous recognition of connoisseurs, Eugène-Aimé’s uncompromising standards prevail. The wine is made in exceptional vintages only, volumes are limited, and winemaking processes remain unchanged. There is no use of reserve wines and blend allowed at Salon. The Salon is one of the few Champagnes that are highly sought after by wine collectors. Maison de Champagne Salon is part of the Laurent Perrier group.
